Today was a poignant turning point in my life. It all started when my hairdryer's soul commuted out of its shell this morning. I think it decided to break as a metaphor for the way I have been feeling lately. Let me explain. I have recently graduated from uni where I studied photography. I now have to pay for myself to live in, arguably, the best city in the world. Before this July my student loan did this for me. Therefore, I have now got a full time job at a market research viewing facility. It's pretty cool with one way windows etc but it doesn't rock my career ambitions. I feel like I've been living the job and not focusing on trying to do what I should be doing, something creative. So, I think my hairdryer had decided that blowing my hair dry each morning at silly early wasnt really cutting the mustard for it. This is what I have decided. To cut a long story short.... too late (courtesy of Clue) I have decided to start a blog in order to comment on how my experiences of trying to get out of this mess goes. I will throw in some film reviews, gallery visit thoughts and general ramblings. This of course will start, tomorrow.
